Lawrence started racing in 1993. Here is the story to date:
1993-1996: Cadet karts
1996:
Many wins in Cadets. 10th in British Championship. 11th in the Mclaren
Mercedes Champions of the future championship.
1998-2000: Ministox
1999:
13th in World Championships. 5th in the National points Championship.
12th in the British Championship.
2000:
2nd in the National points Championship. 5th in European
Championship. 5th in British Championship. Lawrence was sitting
in 2nd in the World finals until his car developed a mechanical failure
that forced him to retire with 2 laps to go. Lawrence got the 20
lap race record at Arena Essex and also the lap record.
2001-Present: Legends Cars
2001:
12th in the National Championship. 8th in Semi-Pro World points .
Lawrence picked up his first race win and is currently the youngest
person to win a Legends Car race.
2002:
9th in the National Championship.
2003:
Lawrence completed part of the season and finished 14th in the National
Championship. Lawrence won the winter championship with 3 race wins out
of 6 races.
2004: Lawrence
completed part of the season and finished 12th in the National
Championship.
2005:
7th in the National Championship. 13th in the World Pro points.
Lawrence finished 41 out of the 42 races he started, as well as going
to Belgium to compete at Zolder with the Belgian Legends Cars with a
win and a 3rd.
2006:
4th in the National Championship. 9th in the World Pro points. 13th in
the World finals in California. Lawrence finished 47 out of the
48 races he started.
2007: 5th in the National Championship. 2nd in the Winter Championship and 9th in the Pro World Points Championship.
2008: 2nd Pro World Points Championship, 3rd Legends Cars Welsh Cup, 4th UK Legends National Championship, 8th Legends Cars World final (Las Vegas)
